Sometimes not understanding is more pleasurable than understanding.
This string of letters and numbers is meaningless to a person walking by on the street; it’s the sort of visual noise we’re used to filtering out. But its lack of significance is exactly what makes it interesting to look at. It doesn’t offer any information we can act on, it just passively waits to be appreciated. Or not.

I love this image. To capture a reference point. The way you have cropped the image, with the corner of the container. As a casual reference to you by someone you’re walking with.

Do you mean it’s like someone I was walking with referred to it and I looked at it and snapped the picture? I guess it has that offhand, mid-conversation look. Actually I was alone when I took the picture.
But now that I think about it, walking alone in the city can feel like a conversation.
